Revitalize

Zumbrota Community Garden

In 2020, at the beginning of the pandemic, ReVitalize started a free for all community garden in the heart of Zumbrota, MN.  Providing access to fresh, free, organic produce for underserved citizens in our community.  Our aim is to educate children and adults alike in the benefits of biologically diverse soil systems using fungally dominated soil structures that enhance nutrient density of the food grown.

Glyphosate Research

In 2019 when I started this business it was with the intention of providing a source of healthy food for my community.  In addition, I decided my focus would be on cleaning ecosystems, not just through diet alone, but in developing and breeding species of edible mushrooms capable of remediating and breaking down toxic chemicals as a means to clean water systems in the U.S. and throughout the world.  Currently we are working on a species of locally harvested Oyster mushroom that has been showing promising results in the lab of breaking down the chemical glyphosate or better known as RoundUp.

Zumbrota School Greenhouse

Our most exciting future project is the implementation of a farm to school program here at Zumbrota Public School.  This will entail the design and construction of a winterized greenhouse, powered by solar water heaters and geothermal airflow to facilitate the ability to grow veggies and fruits year round.  Our aim is to provide a source of nutrient dense food directly accessible on school grounds to help reduce food costs for our school system while at the same time building a curriculum around teaching children how to grow their own food.  We believe if children have the ability to interact with living soil systems everyday we will see a significant drop in degenerative diseases.
